This lovespoon has been designed and hand carved in Wales by a Welsh Craftsman.

 The custom of carving and giving Welsh Lovespoons originated in Wales hundreds of years ago.  Originally they were carved by young men and offered to the girl he loved as a token of affection.  Today as well as being a gift of affection or memento from a visit to Wales, Lovespoons are still given for Anniversaries, weddings, engagements, births, christenings, birthdays and St Valentines Dat in Wales.
